At Trellis we have a passion for flowers, from their gorgeous blooms right down to their earthy roots. From conserving and repurposing, to coordinating bilateral wedding florals, we strive to create a sustainable future for the floral industry while maintaining the integrity of each tiny bud. We are part of the “foam free” movement, source florals that are grown in natural and ecologically appropriate environments, and reduce waste through floral repurposing. We are proud to be the leading Columbia River Gorge florist in creating a movement towards sustainable and ecologically appropriate floristry.
How You Can Help
In the wedding industry, the majority of florals are discarded the day after their big event. Due to the care that florists put into their product, these flowers and greenery are capable of being enjoyed for up to 5 additional days. There are many ways to repurpose your wedding centerpieces including gifting them to local retirement and assisted living homes, and many hospitals have volunteers on staff to pass your bouquets on to those who are in need of a smile. Trellis has also come up with a solution to not only repurpose, but to give our brides a greater budget for their dream wedding florals.
Bilateral Wedding Florals
We work with Columbia Gorge wedding venues and their brides to not only reduce their floral budget but to help save Mother Earth. With the ability to provide floral arrangements and installments for a fraction of the cost, our bilateral florals are helping to significantly cut your wedding budget and maintain the design integrity of your dreams. Ask us how this may work for you on your big day.
